- Companies can claim comprehensive reimbursements if ACER devices equipment fails under warranty during the first year
- Complaints follow close rules – material defects, warranty repair and appropriate business recording
- Vero and space devices are covered – it’s no longer just for the Business Gear budget
Acer has revealed a new offer that could reshape customer expectations in the laptop and the IT space.
By virtue of the Acer reliability promise, customers in the EMEA region that buy eligible professional devices by the end of 2025 can receive a full refund of the original purchase price if the device is under material fault during the first year and is repaired under warranty.
The eligible categories include Chrome and Windows Pro devices, as well as certain commercial monitors and projectors. In particular, products with Vero Sustainability Technology in Acer and Spatiallabs 3D capacities are also included, indicating that the offer is not limited to entry -level commercial models.
How does this new policy work?
The invoice date has day 1, and buyers have 30 days to record their purchase. Up to 20 products per company are eligible and the purchase must be for a new product manufactured during the calendar year 2025.
Any complaint must be filed within 30 days of repairing the product under warranty. The defect must be linked to the equipment and resolved by an acer-authorized repair center. Software problems, failure of external components, improper use or accidental damage is excluded.
This offer is not available for individual consumers and exclusively targets professionals and companies recorded by VAT. To make a complaint, customers must provide commercial identification information and bank details. The reimbursement only applies once per product and is based on the net purchase price, excluding VAT and accessories.
By offering what is essentially a one -year satisfaction guarantee, Acer questions industry standards and encourages competitors to reassess their own guarantee policies.
If it is widely adopted, this model could increase quality standards and establish greater confidence in the company’s technology sector.
