Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese had a stormy exchange after the sniper of the Indiana fever defeated the Chicago sky striker in the third quarter of their match on Saturday.
Reese pushed the fever attacker Natasha Howard in the back when she caught an offensive rebound from a lack of teammate Rebecca Allen.
Reese brought the low ball back, and Clark enlisted it before climbing for a shot. Reese fell to the ground.

Reese rose from the ground and put himself on Clark’s face.
The referees watched the game and determined that Clark used his left hand to push Reese to the ground. They improved personal fault on Clark in a blatant fault. And Reese and Aliyah Boston of fever received technical faults.
“Nothing malicious about it, just a good catch,” Clark told Holly Rowe d’Espn.
It seemed to be another chapter of the rivalry between Clark and Reese.
The two had an intense rivalry during their stay in female university basketball. Clark spoke of the importance of defeating his rivals on the ground before the match against Chicago.

“The rivalries are real, and that’s what makes sport so incredible,” Clark told ESPN. “There are certain teams that these matches mean a little more. [We] Come here and play in the same way every night, but [a rivalry] involve fans and they love it. “”
Clark’s story with the sky started last season.
Clark took a series of questionable faults from Reese’s Sky throughout the 2024 season, including one from June 16.
Clark also took a sadly famous check for the illegal hip hip of the Chicago Sky Carter attacker on June 1. Then, at the end of August, Diamond Deshields of Chicago committed a hard fault on Clark, which flew through the ground. The fault was then upgraded to a blatant violation, and Dehields then published screenshots of hatred messages which she had received from the fault.

But the Clark team prevailed, taking three of the four meetings between the teams last year, which were among the most watched WNBA competitions all season.
The sky and the fever meet five times in 2025.
