New York Liberty are no longer undefeated and they can blame Caitlin Clark.
Clark turned on the dashboard of his return from injury, and Indiana fever beat the WNBA, 102-88 title champions.
The Liberty, which entered the match at 9-0, led by 11 in the first quarter, but Caitlin Clark occurred. Clark missed five games after injuring her quad against this same Liberty team three weeks ago, but she barely looked rusty.

Clark overturned six of her first nine points at 3 points and dropped 25 points in the first half, the most she ever had in half of her career. The big blow of this first half, however, was her section of Reggie Miller during which she went 3 for 3 deep in a period of 38 seconds. Indiana led 53-50 to half.
New York scored nine unanswered points to open the second half, but the fever quickly responded with 19 consecutive points to launch a wild race of 25-3 to lead by 16, their biggest day.
The Liberty, however, has managed a sequence of 14-2 to reduce its deficit to only four points. After finally managed a three -point game, the racing match continued, while Indiana scored 17 of the 21 points next to lead 16.

Clark could not continue its hot shooting in the first half in the second. She scored seven points in the third quarter and went aimlessly in the fourth, making only one of her five 3 points in the second period.
But Lexie Hull, Damiris Dantas, Sydney Colson and Sophie Cunningham combined to eliminate seven of the 11 3 points (Sophie Cunningham went 3 for 10 of Deep). The fever has drained 17 3 points, a franchise record and the seven of Clark equaled a career in career.

Clark finished with 32 points, the second plus she had in a WNBA match. She was at a decisive pass of a double-double, and she also took eight rebounds.
Indiana went 2-3 with Clark with Clark and now has 3-2 with it on the ground. These two defeats came from three combined points.
The fever will welcome the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday, while New York will return to the Big Apple for an appointment with Atlanta’s dream.
