The NBA figures jumped into a debate on the “face of the league” only a few weeks after the criticism that the star match received in relation to the confrontation of the 4 NHL nations.

“The face of the NBA is Caitlin Clark !!!” The former NBA goalkeeper, Rashad McCants, wrote in a post on Saturday on X. “Yes, I said it !!!! She treated the criticisms better than the people you consider to be the greatest of all time !!!!! @ caitllclark22 your goat !!!”
McCants then underlined the latest news on exhibition games whose Indiana fever will be a part.
The fever will play an exhibition match against the Iowa Brazilian national team before the start of the WNBA season. Tickets for this match sold in less than an hour. In addition, Chicago Sky has moved home games against Wentrust Arena fever in the United Center.

Last week, Minnesota Timberwolves goalkeeper Anthony Edwards said he didn’t want to be the face of the league. The Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James sympathized with that.
“Why do you want to be the face of a league when all the people who cover our game and talk about our day -to -day game – on everyone?” James asked journalists on Thursday.
“This responsibility – it’s just weird. It is a strange energy of people who … I don’t know.”
James said he understood where Edwards came from with his remarks.
“(Anthony Edwards) said he didn’t want it. I mean, obviously, I didn’t ask for it; but I knew there was a responsibility for me-not only for my family, my friends, my community and anyone who was going to follow my trip throughout my career, not only to Ohio when I started there-but everywhere in America and everywhere in the world.
