No MLB player hit more circuits leading to the stars break from the Seattle Cal Raleigh Mariners. The 38 circuits of the Receiver League at 94 games put him in rhythm to exceed the historic season of 62 Home Run from Aaron Judge.

Raleigh 2025 Raleigh season earned him a selection of first career stars. On Monday, Raleigh became the first recipient in history to win the Home Run Derby trophy. He is also the first switch to claim the derby crown.

The 18 long Raleigh balls in the final round exceeded the 15 Tampa Bay Rays circuits of Tampa Rayder Junior Caminero.

Raleigh’s historic derby was a family event. His younger brother Todd Raleigh Jr. was the receiver, while Todd Raleigh threw shifts in the Slugger in the Navy.

“It comes back to him to go home and I am forcing him to start a ball and hit him in the courtyard or at home or something (he) should probably not do,” said the first All-Star, recalling moments of his childhood.

Raleigh later said “The Pat McAfee Show” that his brother had “lived his best life”.

“It’s a kind of clumsy teenager … obviously like everyone else,” said Raleigh about his 15 -year -old brother. “I didn’t expect him to speak, but he pumped me all the time. I was a little surprised.”

Raleigh spoke to PK Press Club Digital Tuesday in the American League club-house before the star match and took a moment to think about the best moment he had known before Tuesday evening.

“So far, the (Home Run) derby probably takes the cake,” said Raleigh. “Take this with my family was fun.”

It is far too early to know if Raleigh will defend his crown of Home Run Derby in 2026. But, he seemed to be open to the possibility of participating again.

“I have to get there. We will see. If they invite me, it would be great,” noted Raleigh.

While the performance outside the judge’s competition in 2022 still represents the most Home Runs, an Al player struck in a single season, the New York Yankees star follows Raleigh by only three circuits in 2025. The small gap between Raleigh and the totals of the judge of judge returned to the 1998 home race between Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa.

McGwire finally survived Sosa, reaching 70 circuits for the 66 of the star of the Cubs. Some have wondered if Cal Raleigh and Judge would have a similar competition this season.

Raleigh, 28, said that he was not old enough at the time to remember the details of the seasons of McGwire and Sosa in 1998.

“I was a little before my time. (I am a) little too young,” admitted Raleigh. “But I looked at the ’30 for 30 ‘(documentary) above. Obviously, know what it has done for baseball, which is great. All that is so that lights up the game is great.”

Although Raleigh did not provide a direct answer on the question of whether he and Judge could produce a similar competition in 2025, he described the otherwise “incredible” player.

“It is a week of 10 others (home circuits). What player,” said Raleigh.

Raleigh’s name was launched as the first MVP chief MVP in the American League, given its impressive production this year. Raleigh recognized recognition, but said that his goal remained on being a team player.

“This is what it is. It means that I do something good, what is good, but at the same time, to focus on the process and the team first, and then everything that comes after that is great.”

Raleigh went 1 for 2 during its beginnings in the star match with a single in fourth round. The National League defeated the American League during the first break in equality of jump in the history of the game.
