The relentless murder of people by accelerating waste mill driven by unreal and often intoxicated drivers has sent shock waves through the government as well as by political and social circles.

The Minister of Sindh at Accri and Taxation, Mukesh Kumar Chawla, ordered strict action against unregistered waste in the city.

Alam called for the strict application of the opening hours designated for waste and trailers to improve the safety of citizens on the roads.

Meanwhile, the assistant parliamentary chief of the MQM-P, Taha Ahmed Khan, firmly criticized the Sindh government for his “inability to ensure road safety”, blaming his incompetence for the growing number of deaths on the roads of the city .

“Karachi’s roads have become death traps! Uncontrolled waste claim an innocent life – which is responsible?” Questioned Taha Ahmed Khan. He condemned the 15 -year mandate of the Sindh government, arguing that despite the decision for more than a decade, he failed to provide basic road safety measures to citizens.

He urged the government to immediately apply time restrictions to intense traffic and ensure that large vehicles are excluded from the main roads in the city during rush hours. The MQM-P chief underlined the need for stricter laws to regulate heavy vehicles and prevent other tragedies. “The MQM-P is held with the victims and requests immediate measures to control intense traffic in Karachi,” he said.
