Can’t access Spotify or a game of Google? Everything we know about this breakdown impacting the main services

Refresh

Now, Cloudflare says that he is back to be fully operational in an update that was published just before the top of the hour at 4:57 p.m. HE.

It reads in its entirety: “All the cloudflare services have been restored and are now fully operational. We pass the incident to surveillance while we look at the platform measures to confirm prolonged stability.”

This is an excellent update for those who felt the impact of this breakdown, and I hope that all the problems you encountered have been resolved. While many services have been affected today, in parallel with this cloudflare failure, Down Detector turns much better with the decreases.

Google Workspace’s state page indicates that the incident is resolved, while Google Cloud’s state page still displays an active incident worldwide.

In addition, although Spotify has not confirmed a problem, the brand care account responds to a few users, recommending a restart of the application if they cannot use the service.

Cloudflare says that its services are recovered around the world around the world

In accordance with the impacted services reported from breakdowns on the Down detector, Cloudflare indicates that its services “get back quickly” around the world in an update on its status page at 4:32 pm. He expects a “regular drop” of affected services and “additional recovery” in the coming minutes.

This is good news and it probably means Google, Spotify and other services will be back online for you soon, otherwise already.

“The Cloudflare services are quickly recovered worldwide. War and turnstiles are operational, although a small residual impact remains and we work to eliminate it. The KV basic service is restored, bringing up online dependent products. We expect an additional recovery in the next few minutes and a regular drop in impact.”

Google, Google Cloud, Spotify, Snapchat and Discord, among other services which have increased the problems reported on Down Detector, all start to show a drop, and that’s a good thing.

It’s been about two and a half hours since we started to see a peak at 2 hours for services like Google and Spotify, the latter seeing more than 44,000 problems reported. While Spotify has not yet provided a comment, Google Workspace and Google Cloud have updated state dashboards. The first declares that things are back to normal, while the second continues to show affected services.

Down Detector seems much better now, although the reports reported remain for all these platforms.

Cloudflare is still working to bring all of its online impacted services, with the latest update on its dashboard at 3:57 p.m. HE. Which ended with, “We are aware of the deep impact that this breakdown has caused and work with all hands on the bridge to restore all services as quickly as possible.”

Google Cloud always has problems

Although Google says that the problems affecting the workspace have been resolved, but the Google Cloud dashboard continues to display problems.

There are still “several GCP products are experiencing service problems”, in fact, it is more than 39 products, including API Gateway, Assist Agent and Alloydb for PostgreSq around the world. This is Google Cloud’s latest update at 3:56 p.m., you can see the status page here.

Cloudflare published a new update at 3:57 p.m. on his own status page, detailing a little more about what’s going on and the potential impact here. You can see the instruction in its entirety below, but the KV service for Critical Workers of Cloudflare has been offline due to a separate failure hitting a key third party service.

A KV worker is essentially a flow or automation that moves requests throughout the vast cloudflare network, starting or end of storage libraries.

In addition, Cloudflare acknowledges that it is aware of the significant impact that it causes and works to solve the problem as soon as possible with all hands on the deck.

The KV service for Critical Workers of Cloudflare was offline due to a breakdown of a third -party service which is a key dependence. Consequently, some cloudflare products based on the KV service to store and disseminate information is not available, in particular:

Access

CHAIN

Browser isolation

Browser

Durable objects (durable objects supported by SQLite only)

KV workers

In real time

AI workers

Flow

Cloudflare dashboard parts

Turnstile

Gateway

Autorag

Cloudflare engineers immediately work to restore services. We are aware of the deep impact that this breakdown has caused and work with all hands on the deck to restore all services as quickly as possible.

Google gives it clear to workspace problems

The Google Workspace status page now effectively indicates that we are all clear. In an article that was put online at 3:53 p.m., Google says that all the problems are solved.

“The problem with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Chat, Google Cloud Search, Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Meet, Google Tasks and Google Voice have been resolved. We apologize for the disadvantages and thank you for your patience and your continuous support.”

Reports on Down Detector slowed down for both and have been down, so it seems that most of the services are coming back or already. Again, it aligns with the reported problems of Cloudflare, and they are starting to recover.

Snapchat and Discord both see reported problems

In addition to the problems concerning Google, Google Cloud and Spotify, the problems have reported that Snapchat and Discord are both raised on the Down detector.

The problems reported with Discord are currently at 6,683 at 3:35 p.m., but have made more than 10,000 to 2:20 p.m. – the same time when Google and Spotify have experienced major increases.

Snapchat is currently increasing, with more than 6,693 problems reported with the platform. For what it is worth, I can open the application on my iPhone, but I cannot load stories or the main page.

Google is making progress, says everything except meet is corrected

Google is making some progress, at least according to the last update on its workspace state page, published at 3.30 p.m. he.

He reads

Google engineers continue to work on a complete attenuation. “”

This is good news for the people of the Google ecosystem, because it seems that everything except Google Meet is back. And even the reports for the Google call platform are starting to deposit on Down Detector, now seated at 1,854 reports at 3:31 p.m. HE.

At the same time as these problems with Google and Spotify began to emerge, Cloudflare deals with its own problems, according to the company status page.

The latest update, at 3:12 p.m., from Cloudfalre notes that its services are starting to recover, but problems are still present.

“We are starting to see the services recover. We are still waiting to see intermittent errors in the affected services because the systems manage and the caches are filled.”

Since Discord and Snapchat also experience a peak in reports, these problems may well be linked to problems affecting Cloudflare.

Spotify has still not published a declaration, although the problems reported on the Down detector continue to grow, now more than 45,000 reports at 3:22 p.m. HE. We also contacted the streaming giant to request a comment.

It seems that the majority of these problems started shortly after the hour at 2 p.m. and now extend to more than an hour of disturbances.

Google Investigating the problem

Google’s state page currently lists an “ service disturbance ‘active at 3:01 p.m., which has an impact on a certain number of services – this is a good note, however, because the company teams survey.

“We are investigating the reports of a problem with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Chat, Google Cloud Search, Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Meet, Google Tasks and Google Voice. We will provide more information shortly.

Several workspace products from Thursday, 2025-06-12, 10:58 PDT can encounter service problems.

Our engineers are currently investigating the problem.

We apologize to all those affected by the disturbance. “”

This has an impact on several services of the whole G, including Gmail. However, Google does not clarify if a specific set of users knows the problem. For the moment, I can access my personal personal accounts and work without problem. However, individuals of comments on Down Detector report problems with messages, Google Cloud and Google Voice.

A quick overview of the Down Detector home page at 3:25 p.m. HE shows that a wide range of problems encounters problems, with a certain leveling or an abandonment, with Google, Google Cloud and Spotify at the forefront, alongside the Discord and Amazon web services (AWS).

Google and Google Cloud both started to stand at 2 p.m., reaching more than 10,000 reports, while Spotify has also started at the time, but is currently at more than 44,000 reports.
