ISLAMABAD:
The federal government has decided to introduce two new residential sectors in the capital, with development work in sectors F-12 and G-12 progressing rapidly.
The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) is preparing to announce the sectors either simultaneously or in stages. According to sources, the move comes in response to the growing demand for housing in Islamabad.
Sources said the development plan for Sector F-12 has been completed, although its PC-I approval is still pending; development will continue once it is officially approved. Meanwhile, the PC-I for Sector G-12 is also being approved. The areas are expected to be announced once key issues, including rates and planning approvals, are finalized.
It remains possible that the F-12 sector will be launched first, or that both sectors will be revealed together. The introduction of these new sectors is expected to benefit federal employees as well as the general public.
Moreover, development work has already started in sectors F-14 and F-15 of the federal capital.
