Capital to obtain the high-tech hospital supported by the United Kingdom

Islamabad:

The Imperial College Healthcare Trust in London signed its first official partnership with a Pakistani hospital, Hospital Novacare, to share the best clinical practices and promote the development of health personnel.

Under the agreement, the Imperial College NHS will provide a consultation of experts in hospital planning, training and clinical guidance. In return, the affiliation fees generated by Novacare will be reinvested in the NHS of Imperial Services in the United Kingdom.

The Novacare Hospital, currently under construction in the DHA of Islamabad, should open its doors in 2026. It aims to provide advanced medical care in 28 clinical specialties, including cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, neurology and maternal health. The installation will include intelligent management systems of buildings, elevators optimized in AI and technologies for controlling infections and prevention of advanced falls.

The British High Commissioner Jane Marriott CMG OBE qualified the partnership to mark in the collaboration of health care. “This agreement brings the health expertise of the United Kingdom to Pakistan and, in turn, supports the NHS of the United Kingdom. By sharing best practices and helping to develop clinical staff, this partnership will directly help save lives,” she said.

The initiative is part of the wider strategy of the United Kingdom to export NHS clinical standards worldwide. The partnership will also allow NOVACARE clinicians to observe multidisciplinary NHS meetings, to consult the United Kingdom specialists for second opinions and to receive training on the basis of NHS protocols.

In addition, complex cases can be referred to the private installations of Imperial in London, supporting more health care income in the United Kingdom.

Marriott, accompanied by the British trade envoy to Pakistan Mohammad Yasin MP during his three -day visit to the country, visited the construction site of Novacare. The delegation met key executives from Novacare and Andalus Holdings, including CEO Johannes Kedzierski, director Faraz Minai, partner Ghalib Hafiz, director Mustafa Hassan and project director Qaiser Rafiq.
