American tennis Star Taylor Fritz suffered a heartbreaking defeat against the double Wimbledon champion, Carlos Alcaraz, during their semi-final match at the All England Club on Friday, giving the 22-year-old phenomenon to win three consecutive titles.
Fritz, the no. Five Seed fought in the hope of becoming the first American man to appear in the Wimbledon Final since Andy Roddick did it in 2009, but he suffered a defeat during the fourth equality break.

“It was a really difficult match. [is] When I have to play against Taylor – even more difficult with the conditions today, “said Alcaraz during his interview on the field.
Alcaraz said he was “proud” of his performance which saw him the best Fritz 6-4, 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (6), passing to the final with a sequence of 24 games.

Fritz played well, recording 19 AS and 44 winners, but it was not enough.

Alcaraz goes to the final on Sunday, where he will face the winner of the semi-final on Friday between Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner. He previously beaten Djokovic in the final of the Grands Chelems 2023 and 2024 and beaten the sinner Open of France final last month.

On the women’s side, Amanda Anisimova is still trying to make the history of Americans.
She will face Iga Swiatek on Saturday’s final, where a victory will have the first American to win Wimbledon since Serena Williams did in 2016.
Swiatek, a big home champion five times, looks at her very first victory at the All England Club.
