Carson Beck is one win away from being a collegiate national champion, and he didn’t even have to juggle classes to get this far.
Beck led the Miami Hurricanes to the College Football Playoff title game after transferring to the South Florida school. Beck, by his own admission, hasn’t had many distractions off the field.

When asked if he had attended a class earlier in the week leading up to Monday night’s title game, he laughed off the question.
“No classes. I graduated two years ago,” Beck said.
Beck, who attended Georgia before transferring, added that he is “working on other degrees now that I’ve come to Miami, but those programs take a little longer than a year to complete.”
“Obviously, I won’t be re-enrolling next semester. I’ll be done after this season,” Beck continued.

This response turned heads on social media.
“College football is dead,” one user wrote.
“Bro made ‘college athlete’ a full-time career,” added another.
“Playing college football but not going to class for two years is crazy,” said another.
Beck has redoubled his commitment to the football program.
“I live in the facility. That’s about it. If I’m not in the facility, I’m home and just kind of bouncing around. It’s been that way for about a month,” Beck added.

Beck’s touchdown run with 18 seconds remaining last week propelled the 10th-seeded Hurricanes to a 31-27 victory over No. 6 Ole Miss. They’ll try to stop No. 1 Indiana from a 16-0 season Monday night as an underdog, but they’ll be playing in their home stadium.
