Casandra “Cassie” Ventura should testify against the former partner, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Besides that, she also made the courageous decision to use her name and her identity by doing so.
According to the request filed, the prosecutors said that “victim-1” would not remain anonymous because they would testify against the racketeering bands for conspiracy, sex traffic and transport to engage in prostitution.
About PEOPLE Magazine, victim-1 is Ventura and would most certainly testify in the trial as indicated by the deposit:
“She is ready to testify under her own name. The victim-2, the victim-3 and the victim-4 have asked that their identity will not be revealed to the press or to the public.”
It was also asked that the anonymous victims “be returned to the trial using only pseudonyms” and so that the court defends itself not to share their identification details.
The prosecutors said: “This case has already received an exceptional amount of media coverage, which will probably only increase that the trial.”
“The permit of these measures will prevent unnecessary public disclosure from the identity of the victims and the harassment of the media and others, of undue embarrassment and other negative consequences which would almost certainly follow if these women were forced to reveal their real names publicly at the trial”, the file was read.
