Regarding her reputation, Charli notes, “I hate that phrase, but what you see is what you get with me. People think it’s some kind of performance, but it’s not.”
She continues: “I’m not sitting here talking to you like I am on stage. But I think there’s a correlation in that there’s a messiness and a lack of perfection.”
“It’s the combination of talking about these things while accepting them and really wrestling with them that makes me whole. And I think it makes me honest. You can vouch for me, I hope,” Charli concludes.
