The Woods family has added more equipment to the trophy case.
Charlie Woods won the title of the invitation of the Taylormade team on Wednesday at the Streamsong Resort Black Course in Bowling Green, Florida, for his first victory of the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA).
Woods began the day equal to 9 sous and ended with a round of final 66 to get out of a field of 71 players which included four of the five best players in the AJGA.

The final round of Woods presented eight birdies and two Bogeys, and it closed with four consecutive pars. He won the event by three strokes before Luke Colton, Willie Gordon and Phillip Dunham, classified fifth.
Woods opened the tournament with a 70 in the first round but followed with a Tuesday 65. He participated in his fifth AJGA event, and his best finish was equality for the 25th in the Junior Invitational in Sage Valley in March.
Woods already had several victories on his CV, with his firstcomer in the 14-15-year category at the major Junior Golf Tour hurricane championship in June 2023. Later that year, he won the Last Chance regional golf tournament.

Last summer, he qualified to participate in the American junior amateur but failed to make the cup. He recorded his very first hole in one in the PNC championship, where he joined his father.
His father has 82 professional victories, tied with Sam Snead for the most. Fifteen of these victories occurred as a major, and his last major victory was the unforgettable masters of 2019.
Tiger, who has not won a tournament since the 2019 Zozo, recovers from a rupture of Achilles which he suffered just a few weeks before the masters of this year. In 18 official events since having finished tied to the ninth at the Open of Farmers Insurance 2020, its best finish was equality for 37th in the PGA 2020 championship.

Last year, Tiger participated in only five events, including the Genesis Invitational and the other four majors. He withdrew from Genesis, finished dead last in the masters and missed the cup in the last three majors.
