- Chatgpt now has three million paid customers, an increase of one million in just four months
- The new “connectors” seek to further integrate popular commercial tools with Chatgpt
- The new recording method can listen to your calls and offer suggestions and actions
OPENAI has revealed a range of new chatgpt extensions, as it seems to target professional users more and more.
The AI chatbot will now be able to integrate into a number of widely used commercial software tools, including Cloud storage and collaboration tools such as Dropbox, Box, SharePoint, OneDrive and Google Drive.
These new “connectors” will allow Thatgpt Business third-party users to quickly find the data and information they need without leaving the platform, increasing productivity and saving time at work.
Chatpt connectors
The Company says that connectors will help workers access the key data in their company more quickly, for example, a researcher could use the box connector to request quarterly sales measures from PDF or calculation sheets stored in the box, which will then affirm and clearly present the data of these documents, with quotes, while retaining the existing permissions of your organizations.
With connectors, a new recording mode in Chatgpt allows users to record and transcribe meetings or think about sessions, with the tool which is also able to automatically generate notes, provide term quotes and offer suggestions supplied by AI.
The functionality will integrate into your existing documents and your recorded files, which facilitates knowledge of past decisions or to create follow -up actions, with sessions capable of being transformed into usable elements such as a document on canvas.
And alongside the basic connectors, Chatgpt also sees the beta launch of deep search connectors.
Available now with Github, Hubspot, Linear, as well as many popular Microsoft and Google tools, these tools are able to conduct in -depth research by changing the web and third -party tools, so that users can combine external data with business information to produce a more complete set of results similar to the report of a research analyst.
The launch comes when Chatgpt announces that it now has more than three million paid customers – an increase compared to two million only four months ago.
Openai now hopes that these new connectors will still help stimulate adoption, with the demand for AI tools that develop in industries around the world.
“Each organization has vast knowledge, but it is often trapped in silos: sales teams have customer information, product teams have market data and engineering has technical expertise,” said Open IA in its press release.
“Our objective is to evolve chatgpt in a platform that unlocks the entire knowledge base of your organization – allowing each employee to take advantage of this knowledge continuously.”
The new connector tools will be available in the Chatgpt Enterprise, Chatgpt Team and Chatgpt Edu levels at no additional cost – but the recording mode will only be available for team users for the moment.
