The alleged murderer of conservative Charlie Kirk, 31, Tyler Robinson, made chilling remarks during his first court appearance, according to a lip-reading analysis.
Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed in front of a crowd of 3,000 people at the first stop on his Turning Point USA “American Comeback Tour” on September 10 at Utah Valley University.
In a chilling courtroom moment captured by lip readers, Charlie Kirk’s alleged shooter, Tyler Robinson, 22, said he thinks about the shooting “every day” — and mentioned widow Erika Kirk during a legal exchange with his attorney, reported by the New York Post.
The alleged shooter, Tyler Robinson, appeared in court calmly and even laughed with his attorney on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, three months after Charlie Kirk was shot and killed at Utah Valley University.
What did Tyler Robinson discuss with his lawyer in the courtroom?
“I think about the shooting every day,” Robinson, who has been behind bars since his arrest days after the killing, appears to tell his attorney off-mic before the hearing begins, according to a Lip Reader Ltd. analysis. (a recognized platform for lip reading services).
Lip reader analysis further adds to the alleged murder of Charlie Kirk, Tyler Robinson’s exchange with his lawyer.
“Every morning…all the time,” he continues.
He then appears to mention Erika Kirk, who ended up with the couple’s two little girls, in this disturbing exchange.
“So he had a wife…” the lip reader figured out at one point.
At another point, he turned to his own condition, confessing that he had “smoked a lot,” that he was unable to sleep at night and that it was “driving me crazy.”
“Unfortunately, it’s bothering me. I’m good for nothing,” he adds, according to the analysis.
Robinson wore a simple blue button-down shirt with a tartan tie.
Tyler Robinson, the alleged shooter in the murder of Charlie Kirk, faces charges of aggravated murder, criminal shooting of a firearm causing serious bodily injury, obstruction of justice, two counts of witness tampering and committing a violent offense in the presence of a child.
The next hearing is scheduled for December 29, 2025.
