Islamabad:
The founder of the PTI, Imran Khan, deposited a various petition before the High Court of Islamabad, requesting an early hearing of his plea asking for the suspension of his sentence in the case of 190 million pounds before Eidul Fitr.
Placed by Barrister Salman Safdar, the petition stipulates that the hearing for the suspension of the sentence was initially scheduled for March 24 but was postponed due to the absence of a lawyer engaged in another case at the Supreme Court. As a result, the hearing was postponed after Eid.
The petitioner urged the court to hear the suspension advocacy with the main appeal before Eid.
