Islamabad:
A senior Party of the Party of the Congress of India brought a hard blow to the government’s account of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that there was no evidence that the attackers, who led Pahalgam’s attack on April 22, came from Pakistan.
While the Indian forces claimed to have killed “three foreign terrorists” linked to the attack on Pahalgam in Jammu-et-Cachemire occupied by illegally, the former Indian minister P Chidambaram asked why the government did not publish the report of the National Agency of Investigation (NIA).
The Indian army said in a press release on social networks that the three had been killed “during an intense fire” near the great Hindu sanctuary of Amarnath in the mountains of Dachigam, about 30 kilometers from Srinagar.
Although the army did not identify the deceased, a police officer told AFP on condition of anonymity that they were all “foreigners”. However, two Indian television news channels said men were suspected of being behind Pahalgam’s attack.
In Pakistan, however, the state media while citing security sources said that India launched a new secret military operation, “the Mahadev operation”, aimed at staging false meetings to cover the failure of its previous campaign, “the Sindoor operation”.
As part of this plan, according to a report by Radio Pakistan, the Indian army killed Pakistani citizens detained during shootings, calling them “terrorists” to mislead the international community. He added that the Mahadev operation was aimed at suppressing the movement of freedom in Iiojk.
On April 22, armed men killed 26 tourists in Pahalgam. With presenting all evidence, India blamed Pakistan. Pakistan vehemently denied the accusation and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif offered an independent investigation into the incident and offered full cooperation in Pakistan.
However, in the night between May 6 and 7, India pulled missiles on Pakistani civil targets in six cities under its “Sindoor Operation”. However, Pakistan gave an energetic response, lowering six Indian war planes, including three Rafale planes.
In addition, Pakistan launched Operation Bunyanum Marsoos on the morning of May 10, reaching 26 Indian military targets, inflicting heavy damage on enemy war machines. A few hours later, India accepted a ceasefire after the intervention of US President Donald Trump.
In an interview given to the Indian newspaper “The Quint”, Chidambaram said that the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi had not yet presented any evidence that those who had attacked Pahalgam had come from Pakistan.
“The second thing is that the government does not bring out the report of NIA to see what the agency investigated during this period. Could the agency identify the terrorists? And where do they come from? These terrorists can be local. Why did you suppose they came from Pakistan?”
He said the Indian government hid the losses suffered during the four -day war. When asked what the Indian government was trying to hide, Chidambaram said that the government was trying to hide what the Indian Defense Head stressed that India had made strategic errors.
The Radio Pakistan report said that Mahadev operation is trying to restore the declining political credibility of the Modi government, after the embarrassment of Operation Sindoor, which ended with a failure after the aggressive posture of India against Pakistan against him.
According to the report, on April 24, two citizens of the innocent cashmere, Muhammad Farooq and Muhammad Deen, were killed par excellence by Indian forces after having wrongly crossed the border.
In addition, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) revealed in April that 723 Pakistanis had been illegally detained in Indian prisons, with 56 other force-gone by Indian intelligence agencies.
There are growing fears that these prisoners can be used during false meetings under the Mahadev operation, where they could be forced to record anti-Pakistani statements before being killed and labeled as “terrorists”.
The sources indicate that the Indian media is fed on false videos, planted weapons and staged images immediately after these meetings to strengthen the false claims of New Delhi. This tactic reflects the operations of false Indian flag, where innocent individuals were formulated as activists to justify the military aggression.
The Mahadev operation would constitute a serious violation of international law and human rights, according to sources. Pakistan has repeatedly explained the history of the false meetings of India, including the operation of false flag of Pahalgam earlier this year, that India used to justify its military aggression.
Human rights organizations and the United Nations were called upon to investigate the alleged atrocities of India at IIOJK. Tensions still simmering after the India-Pakistan conflict in May 2025, the international community must prevent a new escalation by holding India responsible for its actions.
