China is delighted with the announcement of Pakistani and Afghan governments to improve their diplomatic accusation affairs to the ambassador, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said on Wednesday.
Addressing a regular briefing, he said that recently, the Pakistani government and the Acting Afghan government have announced that they would improve Pakistani-Afghanistan relations at the Embassy level.
“China welcomes this and believes that it will help Pakistan and Afghanistan to improve mutual trust, strengthen cooperation and maintain peace and stability in the region,” he added.
The spokesman said it was also an important positive measure for Pakistan and Afghanistan to implement the results of the informal meeting of the Foreign Ministers of China, Afghanistan and Pakistan in May this year.
“China is ready to continue to play a constructive role in promoting the improvement and development of relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan,” he added.
