Islamabad:
Pakistan and China have reiterated their determination to raise bilateral links to new heights and further solidify the strategic partnership, Foreign Office (FO) said in a press release on Tuesday.
Development came as an ambassador of China Jiang Zaidong met the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, senator Ishaq Dar in the Federal capital.
One day earlier, the FO had rejected the allegations “baseless and baseless” targeting Pakistan’s commitment to China’s policies, stressing that Beijing continued to be the “all -time strategic partner of Islamabad”.
Pakistan has maintained strong bilateral links with China, which has extended support thanks to numerous investment and development initiatives, including the Chinese-Pakistani Economic Corridor (CPEC) which has been described as a “rescue buoy” For the national economy.
During Tuesday’s meeting, Dar and Zaidong reaffirmed the Pak-China All-Week strategic partnership, which was described as “cornerstone of bilateral relations” between the two countries, the FO said in the press release.
The CPEC 2.0 progress has been examined at the meeting, and the two parties also expressed their commitment to further consolidate their strategic partnership.
