The Miami dolphins finished last season with an 8-9 file and failed to qualify for the NFL qualifiers. The disappointing year sparked the anger of some of the faithful of the Dolphins.

The Director General of Dolphins, Chris Grier, spoke to the media on Wednesday, the day after the team’s list reduction at 53 at the League deadline. Grier spoke of the general structure of the list entering the 2025 campaign and also discussed the status of specific players as week 1 approaches.

Grier recognized the anxiety that the end of last season triggered.

“And if I was comfortable and saying that I felt what things are, then I am an A – H — … because I am not realistic on where we are in a team and where things go … After last season. I am frustrated as [them] that we did not win enough games last year. I understand that, I don’t take things personally. When I got out, people were usually very positive and stuff for me. “”

Grier was raised to the post of Dolphins Managing Director in 2016. He joined the franchise as a scout in 2000.

Regarding pressing alignment issues, Grier has confirmed that the Came Smith’s Coin Half will start the regular season on the non -football injury list. Smith appeared in six games during the 2024 season.

Grier gave a positive update on the ball carrier for the availability of De’von Achane for the opening of the season against the Indianapolis colts. Achane recently faced a calf injury.

“All the indications for us are that Chane will be ready for week 1 to leave,” said journalists on Wednesday.
