Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky, who recently appeared in a new Amazon Super Bowl 2026 ad, shared their love for sports.
The new ad shows the couple showcasing the upgraded version of Amazon Alexa+, giving an Ultron vibe. The Marvel actor turns it into a commercial comedy by imagining the worst scenarios with Amazon’s new assistant.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, the 42-year-old spoke about his and Elsa’s interest in the sport.
He added: “It depends on the sport. But whenever excellence is displayed at such a high level, it’s hard to turn away.”
Chris opened by saying that they watch UFC and Elsa really likes it. Meanwhile, they really enjoy watching Australian rules football and professional surfing.
As for the Super Bowl, Extraction The actor said they aren’t die-hard fans because they live in Australia and the event doesn’t carry the same weight as it does in the United States.
“We lived in America for a little while, but we’re not avid, obsessive fans. Especially in Australia, it’s not that big of a deal.”
However, the Thor actor admitted that he loved the event. He shared: “When we lived in America, our friends would have Super Bowl parties, and it’s pretty darn special.”
On the work front, Hemsworth is set to star in a crime thriller with Mark Ruffalo titled Crime 101.
