Islamabad:
Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) announced that students affected by the leak of three level A exam documents during the May / June 2025 session will be eligible for free resistance in the next November series.
The decision comes in the midst of the growing concerns of students, parents and civil servants after the examination committee confirmed last month that parties of several issues had been compromised.
Cie, who performs level O and A worldwide exams, recognized the flight of document in June and said that affected students would receive compensation in the form of additional notes for affected issues.
The leak triggered general indignation and requests for transparency, especially after the students raised complaints throughout the examination window.
Before the public admission of the Board of Directors, a parliamentary committee had been informed that the conclusions of the investigation into the leaks of alleged documents would be shared after June 16, a delay which only intensified public control.
On Monday, Cie published an official update on its Facebook page aimed at candidates who appeared in one of the three compromised articles of the June 2025 session.
The affected evaluations include Cambridge International AS and a level of level 12 mathematics, Cambridge International AS and a level of level 42 mathematics, Cambridge International AS and a level 22 computer level.
“The results of these programs will be published as usual,” said the statement.
“We offer free entry -program residences in the next November 2025 exam series for students who attended one or more of the three articles affected in June 2025.
“We sent a message to all the candidates and their families through schools and will provide more information after the publication of our results of the June 2025 exams,” added Cie.
“Applicants are invited to contact their schools if they have other questions and once again thank you for all students and families.”
