The Islamic Ideology Council (CII) said on Wednesday that the question of retention of tax withdrawals and banking transfers remained under study and that the consultation would continue at the next meeting. The CII during its 342nd meeting, chaired by its president Allama, Dr. Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naemimi, expressed its conditional support for the establishment of breast milk banks, provided that they were created in strict and guaranteed terms. Earlier, it was said that the CII had declared the restraint to restraint on cash withdrawals and transfers of banks as a surplus and non -Islamic. However, later, he said that what had been shared earlier simply reflected the preliminary opinions of certain members. The CII noted that although some members expressed concerns about excessive and non -Islamic sample, but these are individual points of view. He reiterated that the subject has remained under examination and that a conclusive position would only be adopted after a in -depth debate and a consultation. During the session, the Council examined several legislative and religious questions. One of the main discussions was focused on the proposed amendment bill concerning DIYAT (blood money). The CII opposed the suggested changes. The meeting stressed that the traditional standards prescribed by Sharia – gold, silver and camels – must remain intact. The members stressed that the bill had attempted to withdraw money as a measure and proposed a quantity of non -shariah gold, which they did not accept. Another point on the agenda was the use of insulin made of ingredients derived from pigs. The CII observed that, since insulin prepared with halal ingredients was already available, there was no justification to use the variant made with pork derivatives. Members have concluded that preference should always be given to halal alternatives when they are accessible. The meeting expressed reservations on the verdict of the bench of two members of a supreme court on September 11, who judged that a divorced woman before the consumption of marriage was entitled to Iddat (waiting period) and the Nafaqah (maintenance), saying that such a decision was contrary to the Koran and Sunnah.
