Civic agency to accelerate Gardenia Hub Project

Islamabad:

Capital Development Authority (CDA) asked managers to accelerate the current upgrading work aimed at transforming the adc nursery into “Gardenia Hub”.

The president of the ADC, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, visited the nursery of the CDA as well as the engineering of the members, the member environment and other higher officers of the ADC to examine the work in progress.

The president said that the main objective of the project is to position Islamabad as a key player in the horticulture sector.

He ordered the authorities concerned to accelerate the construction of modern flower shops, which will not only embellish the city but will also serve as recreational attraction for residents.

He also requested the construction of advanced and climate -controlled greenhouses to optimize plant growth and support research initiatives. In addition, a tissue culture laboratory will be established to propagate new plant species using cutting -edge techniques.

A dedicated floral exhibition area will present seasonal and out -of -season flowers for a public vision.

The President of the ADC stressed that the Gardenia Hub aligns with the CDA efforts to improve the green coverage of Islamabad and promote environmental sustainability. The project should generate employment possibilities in the horticulture sector while creating new international references for such facilities.

He led the completion of the work in the calendar, guaranteeing membership of global standards.

He reiterated that the initiative would breed the Horticultural landscape of Islamabad and would serve as a model for the region.
