CJ Afridi underlines the unit of the bench bar

Islamabad:

Chief judge Yahya Afridi reaffirmed on Tuesday the bench and the bar as essential pillars of the judicial system, stressing that their common objective of doing justice requires close cooperation.

The high -level judge made these remarks when he met a delegation from the Sindh High Court Bar Association (SHCBA) in the register of branches of the Supreme Court, Karachi. He was accompanied by the chief judge of the High Court of the Sindh, Junaid Ghaffar.

According to a statement published on Tuesday, the chief judge welcomed the delegation and reaffirmed that the bench and the bar are an integral part of a judicial system.

He stressed that the shared mission of justice cannot be carried out without the close cooperation of legal fraternity, ensuring that it would not allow any factor to disturb this significant vital partnership.

Information of the delegation, the best judge described the current reform program implemented through the Pakistan law and justice commission (LJCP). He informed them of the measures taken for the well-being of legal fraternity, including their inclusion in decision-making processes and the development of policies for the justice sector.
