Karachi:
On Sunday, five people were injured during a confrontation between two groups near the passage of the Gharibabad railway.
The incident occurred in the jurisdiction of the Azizabad police station, where residents of makeshift huts and people from a neighboring residential area fought, causing injuries to five people, including a woman.
The police said that during the confrontation, the rabid individuals set fire to the huts, burning completely five of them. A tender fire reached the place and has mastered the fire.
Police say the injured said that some boys in the nearby residential area came in drug huts, to whom residents of the cabin opposed. When they were stopped, a fight broke out.
The injured were transferred to Abbasi Shaheed hospital for medical treatment. The police identified the wounded as Allah Wasia, 34, Khalid, 35, Noor Jahan, 48, Imtiaz, 50, and Dar Naz, 55. All would have been without danger.
Police also said that investigations on the incident started, while excavation was underway for those responsible to set fire to the huts.
