The legend of Los Angeles Dodgers, Clayton Kershaw, announced in September that he would retire after this season.

Kershaw, 37, has recorded a career of 2.53 ERA on 18 seasons, which is the lowest by an MLB launcher in the live ball (since 1920) with at least 1,000 rounds.

Tom “Flash” Gordon, a former MLB star, told PK Press Club Digital that Kershaw should be a first -round renowned temple.

“I’m going to tell you this, if he is not a first hall of fame, then you know, I have not played 21 years in the League, and I am not talking about today. And I know that is what we are doing at the moment,” Gordon told PK Press Club Digital in a recent interview.

Gordon looked at a lot of Kershaw because his son, Dee Strange-Gordon, played with the Dodgers for four seasons.

“I looked at a lot of Clayton because, you know, of course, was there, but just the way the man went there, the way the man came out on the mound after taking care of things before presenting me,” said Gordon.

“He is an elite athlete, but he illustrated this by the way he took the ball, the way he put the dodgers in the playoffs and he put them on his back for years.”

Kershaw has joined the illustrious 3,000 strikers club earlier this season and is one of the 11 launchers to have won the Cy Young Prize three times. He led the National League at the time five times.

Gordon said Kershaw has raised his teammates with his performance.

“I have always learned, and I learned that to (be) around Roger Clemens and (Bret) Saberhagen as a launcher, that when you have a guy like that, everything you do. You can learn to play, to present, to become a better player because this guy will guarantee you for the most part, that the enclosure will not be extended,” said Gordon.

“It’s like that Pedro Martinez, that’s what I consider Kershaw as. A Pedro Martinez caliber, Roger Clemens Caliber, Bret Saberhagen Caliber, even better.”

Kershaw won the World Series with the Dodgers in 2020 and 2024, and Gordon wants the left launcher to end his champion career.

“If they play quite well to do quite well, that way, he can get a series championship of the playoff series. I mean, it would be, it would be incredible, it would be the icing on the cake,” said Gordon.

The dodgers are up 2-0 on the phillies of Philadelphia in the NLDS, and Kershaw has not yet launched these qualifying series. It is available from the enclosure of the lifts.

Kershaw appeared in 23 games this season and posted a 11-2 file with an MPM of 3.36.

NLDS match 3 will take place at 9:08 p.m. on Wednesday.

Gordon’s son, Dee-Strange Gordon, played 11 seasons in the majors. He made two teams of stars during his career and had an average of the career stick of 0.286, while playing a strong defense at the stop and second goal.

Tom Gordon is now strongly involved in the perfect game, the largest and complete world scouting organization in the world. He has a podcast, “minings of life”, which will make his debut shortly.

Gordon has traveled the country in a motorhome, built with a personalized podcast studio, where he interviews players, managers and current baseball executives.

Gordon played 21 seasons in the major baseball league, was three times all-star and recorded 54 consecutive stops, which set an MLB record at the time.
