Clayton Kershaw, probably the best launcher since the beginning of the century, will call it a career at the end of this season.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have announced that their long -standing ACE would retire, making their debut on Friday last at the Dodger Stadium during the regular season.
Kershaw made his MLB debut in 2008 after being the seventh choice a total of two years ago, and he has exceeded all possible expectations since.

Kershaw’s 2.54 era is the lowest by all the MLB launchers in the live ball (since 1920) with at least 1,000 lanches launched. He also joined the club of 3,000 strikers earlier this year and is one of the 11 launchers to win at least three Cy Young prizes. Each of the others who are eligible, apart from Roger Clemens, is in the temple of fame.
Kershaw will have spent his entire 18 -year -old career with the Dodgers, winning the World Series in 2020 and 2024.
The Lefty led the National League at the time five times, including each year from 2011 to 2014. The 2014 campaign may have been its best, because it published an MPM of 1.77 with six complete games, a Whip of 10.8 k / 9 and 0.86, leader of the MLB, and won the MVP. He remains the last launcher leaving to be appointed MVP.

Five times Kershaw has ever launched in a time more than 3.00. This year, it is 3.53.
Aside from his three victories, Kershaw finished in the top 10 of the Cy Young Award voting six times and was a finalist in three other cases.
Kershaw was appointed All-Star 11 times in his illustrious career, including this summer as an exemption from the MLB commissioner, Rob Manfred.
The injuries derailed Kershaw in the best of the last decade because he has not made 30 departures since 2015. But when he was on the ground, he was an ageless wonder.

The Dodgers are on the way to win the NL West, and Kershaw believes that they are a room if they hope to repeat as champions.
