ISLAMABAD:

Federal Minister for Climate Change Musadik Masood Malik warned that Pakistan remained one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change during his speech at the Arctic Circle Forum in Rome, calling for science-based solutions to tackle the accelerating impacts of melting glaciers and extreme weather.

Speaking at the forum’s plenary session titled ‘View from Pakistan: Climate and Poles’, the minister highlighted the country’s exposure to climate-induced disasters.

Malik also participated in a panel discussion on “Science Diplomacy for the Third Pole”, where he highlighted the need for closer collaboration.
