CM Maryam Nawaz launches Eid Gift Drive for special children through Punjab

Punjab Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif launched a campaign across the province to distribute Eid gifts among children with special needs before the Eid vacation.

The initiative aims to offer Eid gifts to 40,000 special students registered in government establishments, according to an official statement published on Saturday.

Acting on the directive of the chief minister, the special assistant Sania Aashiq visited three special education establishments in Lahore and distributed Eid gifts on behalf of Maryam Nawaz.

The campaign was officially inaugurated at the Government degree College of Special Education by Johar Town.

Gifts have also been distributed to the Government Shadab Institute of Special Education and the Government degree College for Special Education in the city of Nishtar.

Sania Aashiq read a written message from the Minister of Chief to the students and expressed her kindness and her care during her interactions.

According to the instructions of Maryam Nawaz, the gifts and cards of Eid were delivered personally to each class, the students expressing joy and gratitude in their own way.

On this occasion, Sania Aashiq also planted a young tree in the college lawn.

Head Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that the joy of special children by Eid gifts was a great honor.

She added that new innovative projects would soon be launched through Punjab to provide better educational and social facilities for children with special needs.
