Two Sindh government officials have been suspended after it was revealed that they had traveled without authorization on Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah’s plane.
The officers, both grade 17 civil servants, flew from Islamabad to Karachi with their families on the chief minister’s plane, Express News reported.
The Sindh government issued a notification confirming the suspension.
According to the notification, the suspended officials include Section Officer Syed Faraz Ali of the Prime Minister’s Cadre, and Wajid Shah, Protocol Officer at Sindh House.
Both officers were on board the flight, which was a test flight returning to Karachi, without the required clearance.
Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah said the flight was being carried out as a test flight and the officers did not have any permission to travel there.
