The chief minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has issued directives to launch an online portal to ensure easy and quick online registration for technical and professional training establishments on Saturday to ensure optimal opportunities for young people.
According to a press release, she said: “From receiving the request to the provision of certificate, the entire process will be entirely online.”
She said that registration would be open for the three -year diploma in associate engineering lessons (DAE) at reduced costs.
The chief minister said that the state to open a bank account on behalf of the institution had been relaxed until the certificate is issued. She added that the students and their parents would be released from the hassles of visiting the offices by providing them with all the relevant information online.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said: “Under the Punjab Skills Development Authority Act 2019, it was made compulsory for all technical and professional training institutions to register with the Punjab Skills Development Authority.”
In the event of a violation, six months’ imprisonment and a fine of up to 1 million rupees will be taxed.
She pointed out that a list of 622 illegal and not approved institutions had been published on the Authority’s website.
“The details of all approved institutions as well as approved courses are available on the web portal. Approved courses are also available on the PSDA website,” she added.
She said complaints could be filed online concerning any illegal institution. An assistance line has also been created to search for information on technical and professional institutions. “”
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said: “We want our young people to go to independent work by making them skillful. We want to offer opportunities to the unemployed and a precious asset of the country.”
Meanwhile, chief minister Maryam Nawaz sentenced an explosion of bombs in a Nowshera mosque expressed deep sadness on the martyrdom of Maulana Hamidul Haq and other faithful. She prayed for the rapid recovery of the faithful injured in the explosion. She said: “The explosion of the bomb after Friday prayers in Akora Khattak Jamia Masjid is a terrorist activity. We will win the war against terrorism.
