Coas warns against the rapid response and resolved to any military misadventure by India

The chief of staff of the Asim Munnir army warned Thursday that any military adventurism of India would be welcomed by an “immediate, resolved and high-level” response because he observed a large-scale combat exercise during a visit to Tilla Field shooting beaches.

General Asim Munnir made the remarks while observing the strike of the exercise hammer, a large -scale field exercise led by the punching body in Mangla of the army to test the operational preparation and the integration of modern weapons in simulated combat conditions, said the army.

“Pakistan wishes regional peace, but our preparation and our commitment to defend national interests are unwavering,” said a statement from the army media wing, inter-service public relations (ISPR).

The exercise presented a multi-domain exposure of military power, in particular long-range artillery, combat helicopters, air support and advanced engineering techniques. Troops from all military branches participated with high levels of coordination, agility and tactical skills.

General Munnir praised the soldiers and officers for their high morale, their professional excellence and their fighting spirit. He described the exercise as a reflection of the operational superiority of the Pakistani army and the continuous advancement of war capacities.

“The strike of the exercise hammer is a clear example of the continuous professional development of the Pakistani army, innovative combat strategies and technological modernization,” he said.

Military leaders, training commanders and dignitaries of various services observed the exercise.

The declaration of the army chief intervenes in the midst of increasing tensions between Pakistan and India after the deadly attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, occupied the cashmere, which left 26 dead, mainly tourists. This attack has been one of the deadliest in the region since 2000.

India has suggested cross -border links without providing evidence, an assertion that Pakistan has firmly rejected, rather calling for an independent and neutral investigation.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, on Saturday, described Pahalgam’s attack as another example of the current game, declaring that Pakistan is open to any neutral and transparent “investigation on the cashmere incident occupied by India.

On Wednesday, the Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, reiterated that if Pakistan will not seek to degenerate the situation, any provocation would meet with a solid response.

Meanwhile, the global powers, including the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Turkey and Qatar, have urged the two nations to defuse tensions and seek diplomatic solutions.
