Crypto Exchange Coinbase plans to launch a credit card that offers Bitcoin
Cashback, said the company on Thursday.
The Coinbase One card, published in partnership with American Express, includes advantages such as winning 4% in BTC after purchases, increasing the rewards on the Holdings of Stablecoin USDC and higher implementation awards and transaction credits on the basis, the Ethereum Layer-2 network developed by exchange, according to the card website. The deployment of the card is expected this fall.
This decision comes while more platforms and cryptographic exchanges deploy payment cards to allow users to spend their token hiding place based on blockchain on daily purchases. For example, the Metamask self-competition portfolio introduced its debit card last year, while Mastercard unveiled the plans in April to launch debit cards with Crypto Okx and Kraken exchanges.
This is not the first Crypto company for Amex either: the company has published a credit card offering crypto awards with Abra in 2022.
Coinbase’s announcement coincided with the company’s Summit State of Crypto event in New York, where the stock market also hinted at the enlargement of perpetual term contracts to the United States, according to the media.
Trading Perps has been limited to non -American users of Coinbase Advance. However, the exchange said earlier this year in a blog article that he worked with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to establish “perpetual -style term contracts” accessible to American users.
