The Unpublished Welfare Association of the Ministry of Inland Finance on Wednesday organized a special ceremony to honor Commissioner of Inland Revenue (South Zone) Syed Anser Ali for his distinguished services and contributions to the ministry.
The event was attended by officers, staff and representatives of the Association who commended Commissioner Ali for his role in strengthening the performance of the department, improving revenue growth and promoting staff welfare.
Speakers highlighted his critical leadership in improving AJK’s point-of-sale (POS) billing system. Under his leadership, they noted that the system had become more transparent, more efficient and widely seen as a model for other regions. His proactive approach has significantly improved compliance levels and helped the department achieve its revenue targets.
