- The report finds that more than half of the British companies could miss the revenues of the adoption of the slow AI
- 30% fear having missed the AI adoption window
- British companies are among the most optimistic
More than half of British companies could lose up to 5% of monthly income simply at a delay in the adoption of AI – a considerable loss which could be easily fixed.
Couchbase’s research has revealed that four out of five (79%) tools give them a competitive advantage, but many manage to move fairly quickly, with a less than one in three (30%), which is now afraid of missing the AI adoption window.
“The AI breed has already started and although the potential is clear, complexity and fragmentation leave many companies that have trouble following,” said Chris Bridgland, leader in the Couchbase customer technology strategy.
British companies are missing the AI race
More than half (51%) of the companies questioned have declared that they are concerned about the failure of the project, which prevents them from adopting the AI.
Others compete with data access and management (44%), creating safe environments for AI (40%) and security problems associated with third -party AI solutions (43%).
Although IA preparation is at its highest level with a generative AI, this is still only 56%. Alarming, only 40% feel ready for applications fueled by AI, and even less (32%) feel prepared for agency AI, which promises enormous advantages of automation.
Despite the challenges, the United Kingdom always opens the way for optimism, 50% thinking that it will improve the customer experience compared to 35% in India and 32% in Germany. Half (52%) also believe that the agent will help them identify new trends.
For the future, two thirds (68%) agree that AI would be easier to control when there are fewer technologies involved. “While IA architectures become more sophisticated, organizations realize that simplicity is not a compromise, it is a competitive advantage,” added Bridgland.
