“The opposition of transgender athletes in female sports is not a question of tolerance or equality. It is equity-and to protect biological women,” she wrote. “I do not believe in any universe of a person born a biological man will have no physical advantage over a biological woman, whatever the hormones they have taken.”
McCain added that she did not think that women and girls should be forced to share a locker room with a biological man – a problem of former NCAA swimmers, Riley Gaines and Paula Scanlan, spoke to last year’s legislators.
McCain added that, in the end, the question is a “loss” for the Democrats.

“This is a problem of cultural war losing for democrats. I will never understand why they want to die on this hill,” she wrote. “They claim that it affects such a small number of people, but this argument also works upside down-why do they favor an unfair situation for the ego of a few?
“It is a problem of equality. I do not hide, I will not reduce myself to societal pressure and I will not move. All those who fight next to me, thank you for your bravery.”
The problem began in March after McCain highlighted Payton McNabb’s injury that she suffered in a volleyball match in the hands of a transgender athlete.
He suggested in his response to McCain that McNabb “broadcast” transgender people.
“You have surprised that you buy in the dissemination of the Trans community given the real problems that occur in this country, your previous ally of the LGBTQ community and the fact that this non-problem affects approximately four people in this country,” wrote Cohen in an article on X.
