Copper hiring Tammy Weinrib as director of compliance for the Americas while he is developing in the United States

Crypto Copper’s Costover Society hired Tammy Weinrib as a new director of compliance and officer of the Secrecy Act (BSA) bank for the Americas, the company announced on a press release on Monday.

Weinrib will head the company’s license campaign on the American market and will be part of the Copper management team, based in New York.

His hiring is part of the expansion of Copper in the United States and follows the appointment of Amar Kuchinad as a global CEO in October of last year.

Weinrib was previously employed as director of compliance and BSA officer at Binance.us. Before that, she worked at Crypto Exchange Gemini.

She enjoyed a career in traditional finance before embarking on the crypto, with stays at Wall Street Bank Citi (C), the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Standard Chartered (Stan).

“His appointment marks an important step forward while we accelerate our growth strategy and extend our offer to traditional finance,” said Amar Kuchinad, a global CEO of Copper, in the press release.

Copper said in December that he had withdrawn his request to register with the UK’s financial services regulator.

The decision was part of the company’s strategic change to focus on markets such as the United States, Europe and the Middle East.
