Police authorities have decided to rigorously monitor the use of social media by police personnel across Punjab, indicating strict ministerial action against those who download inappropriate positions or content.
In the case of any surveillance period at the central, regional or district level, departmental measures will also be taken against public relations concerned (Pros).
This decision was made after complaints concerning police and staff, both in uniform and uniform, by downloading inappropriate publications and content on social networks concerning government institutions.
The additional investigation IG Punjab sent a letter to the regional police officer of Rawalpindi (RPO) Babar Sarfraz Alpa and to the police officer of the city of Rawalpindi (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani, as well as to the RPOS, CPOs and DPOs through the province, including the CCPO.
