Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to secure Al-Nassr’s record 10th consecutive victory in the Saudi Pro League victory.
The Saudi football club beat Al Akhdoud 3-0 on Saturday, December 27.
With this victory, AL-Nassr is preparing for a perfect start to the season and positions itself four points ahead at the top of the standings.
The Portuguese superstar opened the scoring just after the half-hour mark, arriving at the far post to benefit from an assist from Angelo Gomes’ header.
He doubled the lead just before half-time with a moment of pure instinct, deftly sending a Marcelo Brozovic pass into the net with the side of his boot.
Ronaldo was unable to reach the hat-trick when he denied the seventh Saudi Pro League in the second half due to a tight offside, but his compatriot João Félix ensured a dominant finish, adding a third goal in the final hour.
With the victory, Al-Nassr recorded a historic streak and marked a major milestone in Ronaldo’s quest for his first Saudi Arabian league title since his blockbuster transfer in 2023.
