Crypto Accounting Platform Cryptio collects $ 15 million in series led by Alven

The Crypto Accounting Cryptio Platform has raised $ 15 million in an extension of its series A series A of June 2022.

The existing investor Alven led La Ronde and presented the participation of New Backers 1kx and Ledger Cathay Capital, Cryptio told Coindesk by e-mail on Wednesday.

The 15 million dollars collected make the total of series A at 25 million dollars.

Cryptio’s objective is to provide traditional financial entities (tradfi) with back office operations and infrastructure that allow them to offer digital asset products such as stablecoins, loans supported by crypto and savings of crypto.

Many observers expect the number of banks offering cryptography services to increase as a result of the repeal of the accounting rule of American titles and exchanges (sec).

SAB121 has declared that a company that kept a customer’s crypto should record them on their own assessment, potentially for major implications for banking capital allowances when working with cryptographic customers. This has attracted the anger of the participants to the cryptographic industry because it does not take into account the lack of advice from the dry on the way in which the laws on securities apply to digital assets.

The repeal of this legislation is therefore welcomed as a sign of the changing regulatory landscape for cryptocurrency in the United States
