Kraken approaches an agreement of $ 1.5 billion for the US term trading platform Ninjatrader, according to a report by Wall Street Journal.
The agreement could be a way for the exchange of crypto to enter another asset class and increase its users, according to the report, citing people familiar with the issue.
The report added that Kraken could announce the agreement on Thursday and that Ninjatrader would remain an autonomous platform under Kraken.
Kraken and Ninjatrader did not immediately respond to the request for comments from Coindesk.
