The Department of Terrorism (CTD) has published a threat alert in Quetta, warning potential sabotage activities by prohibited organizations.

According to a communication sent to the police, the CTD advised the police to remain vigilant in the light of the threat. The alert stipulates that prohibited organizations can plan an attack in the city.

The CTD reports that two vehicles have entered Quetta and could target government offices or senior officials. Police were invited to take additional security measures to protect public and government properties.

Earlier, at least three people were killed and seven others injured Wednesday following an explosion in the Khuzdar region, the law enforcement authorities announced.

According to Express News, the explosion occurred near a college in the Khuzdar Nall region, the authorities confirming deaths and victims.

The officials said three people had been killed and seven others injured in the explosion. The bodies and the injured were transferred to the Nall hospital for treatment. The authorities are currently working to determine the nature of the explosion.

The chief minister of Balutchistan, Sarfraz Bugti, firmly condemned the recent incident, expressing a deep sadness concerning the losses of life. He ordered the authorities to provide the best possible medical care for the injured.

“Terrorism will be eliminated at all costs, and the anti-pace elements will not succeed in their harmful creations,” he added.
