The Department of the Fight against Terrorism (CTD) has published a threat alert in Quetta, warning potential sabotage activities in the city.
On Friday, in an official police statement, the CTD warned the law enforcement agencies to remain vigilant, citing intelligence reports which prohibit militant groups planned attacks in Quetta.
According to the CTD, two suspect vehicles have entered the city and can target government offices or senior officials.
The authorities have been invited to take additional security measures to protect public and state properties.
