Peshawar:
A large -scale rescue operation was launched Wednesday evening in the Malok Abad region in the KP Swat district after part of an emerald mine collapsed, trapping several underground workers.
According to the first RESCUE 1122 Swat reports, the mine suddenly collapsed during the extraction activity.
“By receiving the alert, the district emergency agent immediately sent a team of response to specialized disasters on the site, where a large-scale rescue operation was launched without delay,” said Rescue 1122 spokesperson Shafiqa Gul.
