Islamabad:
A few weeks ago, the name Salaleh Asif associated with the acronym MIT, began to tour social networks when people discovered that the young man of Pakistan is one of the spirits behind the cursor, the code editor fueled by AI worth 9.9 billion dollars, which takes the start -up scene.
The cursor team made its first appearance in Pakistan during an Islamabad meeting in which more than one hundred manufacturers, passionate about technology and students wishing to participate in the future of programming.
The event was organized at the National Incubation Center and presented a live demonstration of the capacities of Build-On-Commands de Cursor by his Pakistan ambassador, Yahya Qureshi, a conference by Antematter Engineer, Zohaib Adnan, on the way in which the product changed the programming of their business and a question-answer session with Zoom.
Cursor allows developers to generate code and create programs simply by describing what they want to do. In response, the software prints ready -to -use lines of code which can be changed more via additional prompts to incorporate new features, correct bugs and more.
“For those who do not know the concept, it is known as the atmosphere coding,” said the ambassador of the cursor, Yahya. “You no longer need to type thousands of lines of code one by one. You might be absent for a walk or driving, and you just need to enter a task in the cursor, so that when you have reached your destination, your code is ready,” he added with enthusiasm.
Several technological companies, including Taleemabad, Eynvision and others, have come to the event, curious to know how Cursor can help upgrade their work. “Since the use of Cursor, our antematter developers spend much less time doing the growl and innovating and investing energy to find critical solutions,” said Zohaib Adnan, sharing how AI has transformed development.
The developer of the Juan Martinez cursor echoed the same thoughts when asked what the mood coding means for the future of engineers on the labor market. “AI is not there to replace engineers. We need humans for their ability to exercise creativity and to think critically,” he said. “The cursor does not consist in eliminating the work that humans do. This is what can be done when humans work alongside AI.”
Many public asked questions about Cursor’s features and future Juan updates. Some have even shared comments according to their own experience using the software.
The cursor team was overwhelmed by the response and the interest manifested by the community in Pakistan, the ambassador saying that it was surprised to see the projects that people worked on the use of the cursor, which they shared on the group Whatsapp Pakistan Cursor. “This is only the start. We plan to welcome many other meetings, including workshops and hackathons across Pakistan,” Yahya announced.
Participants expressed their satisfaction on the occasion of interacting with the cursor team in Pakistan, while others on social networks expressed that they could not expect a similar event in their cities. “Events like these are a great thing for the technological space in Pakistan,” said a computer student, Amama. “The opportunities to interact with people qualified in the field are rare for us, so it was very refreshing,” she said.
