- Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 has been delayed and will not be released on June 26

CD Projekt Red has delayed Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 indefinitely, days before its planned release date.
The announcement comes from a post X / Twitter where the studio has confirmed that the next major game update will no longer arrive on June 26 as it was originally planned, because it needs more time to be worked.
A new release date has not yet been confirmed, but CD Projekt Red revealed that update 2.3 will be about the same size as update 2.2.
“We were initially hoping to update 2.3 in your hands on June 26. However, we will need more time to make sure that we are satisfied – we aim for a similar range to update 2.2. We will update you more as soon as possible! We appreciate your patience!” CD Projekt Red wrote.

Update 2.2 was published in December 2024 and was a significant correction which added 100 new personalization options to the character designer, the TwinTone function, which allows players to scan other Night City cars to add their color database and new photo fashion options.
The developer also added the Crystalcoat system, which allows players to modify the painting of their vehicles in the game, among other small details that players could discover while exploring Night City.
The content of update 2.3 has not yet been revealed, but now that we know that it will be the same range as 2.2, we can probably expect more than certain improvements in quality of life.
When the update arrives, it will also be available on the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game, which was launched earlier this month alongside the new console.
