Dallas cowboys should be without lamb of Ceedee Lamb for star receivers for several weeks.

The lamb, the quarter of Dak Prescott, suffered a sprained ankle raised during Sunday’s defeat against the Bears in Chicago. The injury could put the touch of three to four weeks, according to ESPN.

Stephen Jones, executive vice-president of the owner and son of the owner Jerry Jones, the Dallas fan told 105.3 that the team still needed to assess the condition of Lamb but admitted that he did not seem promising.

“I think we have to assess the full thing and see how it moves over the day,” said Jones. “Admittedly, he has the sprained of the high ankle, and each of them is different. We would be delighted to put it back for Green Bay, but at the same time, we were also able to understand that the injury is what it is, and we will play.”

Dallas faces the packers on Sunday in a highly anticipated match, given that the Micah Parsons blockbuster is negotiated between the two teams before the 2025 season.

Lamb said the injury was “absolutely” something he believes he can play. He was injured in the first trimester when the Bears Noah Sewell secondary fell on his two legs during an attempted precipitation. Rereading awkwardly showed the torsion of Lamb’s ankle before leaving the ground and in the medical tent.

He returned briefly to follow a route but came out for good. After the match, he was seen bearing a walking boot. An MRI confirmed the sprain on Monday.

Loss of lamb, even temporarily, is important for cowboys. He opened the year with consecutive matches of 100 yards before leaving the Sunday competition.

Lamb has already treated injuries, missing only three games in his career in Dallas. He was sidelined by a concussion in 2021 and a shoulder injury in 2024 which cost him two games.

“It changes a little,” said Jones about the offense without lamb. “When you can have both there, it’s a huge plus. Admittedly, Pickens can do a great job for us in the role.”

The cowboys will rely on George Pickens, who has shown visible frustration during the loss of the Bears, as well as the tight winger Jake Ferguson and Kavontae Turpin and Jalen Tolbert receptors to help fill the void.
