Dan Hurley is one of the most inflamed coaches in university basketball. Uconn Huskies’ head coach has embarked on several heated exchanges with referees of the touch during the matches. He also targeted the media at more than one opportunity.
Hurley’s last battle with the media occurred after Uconn’s victory over Georgetown on Wednesday. During her post -match availability, Hurley answered a question about her media management by describing the press as “a – holes”.
The double winning coach of the national championship seemed to have misinterpreted the question, believing that she was referring to his personal media management in the midst of the criticisms he had received.

“I mean, I think the press was a holes for me all year round,” said Hurley. “Oh wait you mean … Oh, I thought you wanted to say … There are people who act well worse than me. What was it? I didn’t know what you were, I didn’t know what you were talking about. I’m sorry. They were sometimes right.”
